The Lady from the Sea

Written by Henrik Ibsen.  Directed by Theodore Swetz.  University of Missouri-Kansas City.

The design of this traditionally realistic play melded the influence of Ibsen's Norwegian folk roots and the stories of the sea into a more psychological interpretion.  The color pallete was in sweeter pastel tones, which aided in the historical research necessary to bringing the properties together into a single world.
