Set in Juarez, Mexico, The Ghosts of Lote Bravo tells the story of Juanda, a single mother of four, and her expierience praying to the forbidden saint, La Santa Muerte, in order to gain information about her missing 14 year old daughter's whereabouts.
The paint and installation of this show was created through mostly found objects (scrap lumber, sheet metal, cardboard and foam), all cobbled together to create a blend of texture and color both indicative of the culture and socioeconomic reality of the modern day border city.
